22 Days of Transformation

Imagine being on an adventure with a group of like minded, heart centered souls. On Day 1, we step into the unknown together in a state of trust and expectancy, not knowing where we will end up by Day 22. Isn’t this how the pioneers of old must have felt when they set out to sea to discover new lands or how the astronauts felt taking off to the moon? Only now the territory we’re discovering is not “out there” and tangible but “in here” in inner space and in the connections between us.
This is the time for discovering and inventing the new; a very exciting time. Do you feel it?
This time last year I was living in a sweet cottage next to the York River, near Yorktown, Virginia. It was a little sanctuary of peace and natural beauty yet all the signs and symbols of another reality were there too: a massive power plant on the far side of the river; the biggest naval arms store in the US a mile down river, and a fast noisy highway half a mile up the road. I was writing a series of e-books on Consciousness, offering my first tele-classes to a few people and trying to work out how to launch A Whole New World and build conscious community amidst the crashing US and world economy, and thinking wouldn’t it be nice to have a supportive group to help me hold my energy high as I helped them to do the same. Many people were waking up to realize that the world we had known was crumbling, for some this meant real hardship, and there was a lot of fear and poverty consciousness in the air. For others, myself included, although this was a challenging time, there was also a sense of relief in seeing the old world visibly crumbling. This was the death before the birth of the new, the darkest hour before the dawn. And sure enough 2010 has dawned and the new consciousness of our evolutionary potential is birthing magnificently, and suddenly all the agents of change all around the world are stepping out and stepping up and holding hands and saying, Yes, we can! And, Yes, we will!
At the turn of the year I participated in Adela Rubio’s 30 Days of Conscious Energy Shifts www.energycafelive.com and this proved to me without a doubt that it is possible to do real energy shifting, consciousness shifting work and build real, heart centred community in “virtual reality”, using the phone and the web. The intention behind A Whole New World is to support global and local community. Real change is coming from the grassroots, from people like you and me joining our love and light and intention and action together. It’s the time for gathering and co-creation. And I felt called to open an opportunity for conscious community to come together in Virginia where I live. So I decided to offer the 22 Days of Transformation, especially for people in Virginia, but open to everyone anywhere, a local/global model.
When I took part in Adela’s 30 days, I made a decision from the beginning to participate every day and this wasn’t hard to do at all. Sometimes I felt moved to speak on the calls, sometimes I didn’t; sometimes I felt very energized, at others I felt a little resistant, but I could feel myself shifting and moving through blocks and coming more alive as the community became more and more heart-felt, and I really couldn’t have missed a day. I hope you will feel that too, those of you who join me for the 22 Days of Transformation. I hope some of you will choose to be there every day but if you can only join in for a day or two you are welcome too. One of the things I am learning lately is that community can happen wherever we are and whoever we are with; we simply have to show up, be present, open and real, and it will happen.
Alongside the 22 Days of Transformation I am also offering an interview series with 7 energy and wellness practitioners from Virginia and we will be exploring together how we can support our physical bodies as we transition through consciousness shifts.
